We will host our 8th Annual Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction on May 3, 2010 to once again raise funds to help players cover the cost of playing at a higher level. Last year we raised almost $40,000 that went towards player scholarships.
The mission of the Eagles Youth Soccer Club is to provide soccer players between the ages of 8 and 19 the training necessary for them to develop their soccer skills to the highest level they can achieve. If we do our jobs right and the players have the desire, tenacity and dedication required to master the skills and strategies taught, they will become top players.
With the growing number of teams and new players brings more players who are in need of financial assistance. With the cost of playing club soccer rising every year we find that we are unable to accommodate some of the worthy players who wish to play with our club. While the club offers scholarships and the professional trainers are willing to reduce their fees, we are unable to get the fees to a reasonable level for many players, especially boys.
We will accept donations of goods or money at any time of the year towards this event.
