Bob "Buddy" Kelley
Head Coach Bob Kelley has been coaching youth soccer for sixteen years in the Ventura County area. He has been leading the Eagles for the past twelve years. Under his direction our club moved to a full competitive format. Buddy currently coaches the GU15 Gold team and led them to an undefeated league season in 2006 amd 2007. He serves as an elected member of the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park Board and is married to Kathleen, has four children and three grandchildren and works as an attorney in his spare time.

Vince Thomas Director of Coaching, Girls Vince Thomas has been playing soccer since he was five years old. He played both high school and college soccer. He has been coaching since 1992 for both club and high school. He currently coaches the Girls Under 18 Premier team, GU16 Premier team and GU12 Gold team. He is the former coach of the 2004 and 2007 USYSA National Champion and the 2007 Far West Regional League Champion and the 2005 Surf Cup “Super Group” and Girls Cup Champions. As the girls Coaching Director he brings a passion for soccer and a desire to serve the players and trainers as a mentor and role model, educating them in the value of competition, hard work and fun. |

Frank is in his eighth season as a trainer with the Eagles. He holds a National "C" License from the USSF. His teams have had impressive records each year, including his Boys U-13 2nd place finish in Silver Elite at U12. His past teams have been the finalist at the 2003 BU13 State Cup, and the 2003 BU18 CSL Gold league champions. Frank is also the girls’ varsity coach at Westlake High School. In his five seasons as the varsity coach, his teams have won four league titles with a combined record of 97-13-21, and were the 2003 CIF division II champions. For the 2003 high school season Frank was named the Marmonte League Coach of the Year, the CIF division II Coach if the Year, and the Daily News All Area Girls Coach of the Year. Frank is also the womens’ assistant coach at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. Frank is a History teacher at Redwood Middle School in Thousand Oaks. He received a bachelor’s degree in social science from the University of La Verne in 1998 and his currently completing his master’s degree in education. |
