The Eagles Central Coast Soccer Club Boys Under 13 dominated their first year in the Coast Soccer League with a final win on Sunday over Oxnard United (4-0). Competing in the Bronze Alpha Division, the boys clinched First Place this Season with an impressive record of 12-1-1. The Eagles Central Coast BU13 Team finished in the Top 10 for the entire League in Wins, Goals Scored, and Least Goals Scored Against. With four wins to date, the Eagles Central Coast will compete in the ‘Round of 32’, in San Bernardino on December 3rd.
The Eagles Soccer Club is coached by Mark Jones, Cal Poly’s Assistant Coach (and former standout Cal Poly Soccer Player). In 2009, the Eagles Soccer Club formed a strategic alliance with Global Sports Institute (GSI), a worldwide leader in Youth Soccer Development. GSI’s President, Steve Sampson is the former coach of the USA Men’s National Team, the Costa Rican National Team, and LA Galaxy. GSI and Eagles Soccer Club’s mission is to provide the highest level of professional soccer training to young men and women to help our youth maximize their potential. The Eagles Soccer Club currently represents Six age levels of Boys & Girls Youth Soccer on the Central Coast: BU12, BU13, BU15, BU17, GU12, and GU19.
