Michael Padilla has been the assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs at Kansas Wesleyan University Padilla spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach for both the men's women's programs at Kansas Wesleyan University (KWU) for three years and also was the assistant coach at CLU in Thousand Oaks. During his three seasons with KWU, the men's program won three conference titles while the women won two.

Padilla's playing experience includes a year with Cerritos College, where in 2004 he was named All-Far West Region Firs(KWU)t team. He then finished his playing career at Mt. San Antonio College in 2005.

Padilla prepped at Salesian High School in Los Angeles where he was named the 2004 Division-5 CIF Player of the Year after leading Salesian to the CIF Championship.

Padilla holds an NSCCA Advanced National License and is the founder of the Padilla Soccer Academy, providing instruction to boys and girls ages 5-10 in the San Fernando Valley area. He is also former boys’ director of the Salina Soccer Club in Kansas. In his free time, Padilla enjoys running, being outdoors, and watching sports.
